Dr. Ben grew up in Washington, Illinois, where a strong mind for science led him to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of Louisville, in Kentucky. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He was awarded membership to the Nu Charter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which is the National Dental Honors Society. He was an active member of the band in both high school and college where he performed at UofL basketball and football games as well as the Kentucky Derby. Outside of work he likes to hike, kayak, and read science fiction books.

Whitney was born and raised in Washington, IL. She has been in the dental field since 2010. She started as a business team member, then became a Practice Manager, and later went into the Education department. She loves growing others and watching them thrive. Her motto is, teach others to be better than yourself. Whitney loves spending her free time with her husband and their two kids, Reese and Finn. She spends most of her time on the baseball/softball fields.

Sam enjoys spending her free time with her two little girls, Aleida and Elowyn. She is a huge sports fan, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, Illini basketball, and South Carolina Gamecocks football. Sam has three dogs Luci, Molly, and Tucker that keep her on her toes!

Shakia graduated from Midwest Technical Institute in 2016 as a Dental Assistant. She began in general dentistry and then transitioned to pediatrics. She loved assisting but wanted to grow her career on the business side of dentistry. Shakia returned to MTI briefly to study billing and coding, graduating in 2024. She loves to read mystery books and spend time with her kids and family!

Maximizing patient’s dental insurance benefits requires a great deal of patience and perseverance, two qualities that Doreen exemplifies! Doreen loves working with our experienced group of professionals and relishes seeing patients enjoy dental visits on a daily basis. Outside of the office, her two great stepchildren, husband Mark, and two grandchildren fill Doreen’s time. She also enjoys free time reading, hiking, traveling, and creating delicious creations in the kitchen.
